I don’t remember a huge fuss ever being made at my grandmother’s house when guests, cousins, paesans or anyone else dropped over. What was made, was what there was to eat, and there was never any worry on presentation, or how things look. There just had to be more than enough to go around. So here goes – the first dinner parties at my own house.
